On Sunday, standing in front of Democratic-Farmer-Labor delegates from Highland Park and Macalester-Groveland, Isaac Russell said he would abide by their chosen endorsement for the Ward 3 seat on the St. Paul City Council. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - Interstate 270 reopened Wednesday night after being shut down for nearly five hours following a fatal crash where one person died, and two others were seriously injured.According to a spokesperson for the Missouri State Highway Patrol, four vehicles were involved in a crash that happened around 5:45 p.m. The cars were traveling in the middle lane on southbound I-270. ST. LOUIS - Supporters of St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner spent part of Wednesday at the Missouri Capitol in Jefferson City. Members of several organizations, including the Community Justice Coalition, expressed their opposition to several issues. Attempts to remove Gardner from office are one of the issues sparking outrage among her supporters.“We’re going to stand with Kim Gardner today, tomorrow, and until she feels that she is no longer interested in being the circuit attorney in the City of St. Louis,” said Walle Amusa, co-chair of the Campaign for Human Dignity.He said Gardner's enhancing her nursing education is not where attention should be focused. As the victim’s family says, the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s office remains silent.It involved Brandon Scott’s murder, which led to an unforgettable scene on the arch grounds in 2021. Scott’s sister, April, recently spoke about her brother, calling him a "…loving family man with two beautiful children.”The Scott family spoke about their frustrations with the legal system on April 24. Woman shot, killed near hotel parking garage downtown

ST. LOUIS - A woman was shot and killed just before 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Marriott parking garage in downtown St. Louis. Police said the woman was shot several times at the parking garage on North 9th Street and Washington Avenue. What led up to the shooting is unknown.The garage was closed for about two hours as no cars were allowed in or out. William Johnson, a valet who was parking cars at the time of the shooting, said the shooting was “scary” but that it wouldn’t stop him from working. This is the second fatal shooting downtown in a week. Last week, a man was killed in broad daylight at Kiener Plaza. This is a developing story. FOX will give an update as more information becomes available.

Two Laguna Beach hotels have been shut down on Wednesday after a violent 20-person brawl broke out a day earlier.Hotel Laguna and 14 West Laguna Beach were shut down by authorities “due to unsafe conditions and to protect the health and safety of the public, people inside the premises and Laguna Beach Police officers,” said Laguna Beach City Manager Shohreh Dupuis.On Tuesday, police responded to separate disturbances at two Laguna Beach hotels. A Riverside County dance instructor was arrested on Tuesday for sexual assaults involving young girls at a dance studio he owned. Mark Chavarria, 40, owned and operated the Chavarria Institute of the Arts dance studio at 160 South Old Springs Road where several young girls, between 12-14 years old, reported multiple sexual assaults involving Chavarria, according to an Anaheim Police Department news release. The young victims reported that the assaults happened while they were attending the studio.Detectives immediately investigated the incidents and later arrested Chavarria for several sexual assault offenses. He was booked in the Anaheim PD Detention Facility and is currently being held on $5 million bail at the Orange County Sheriff's Department’s Central Jail facility.  L.A.
