Teen robs south St. Louis taco stand, charged with first-degree robbery

ST. LOUIS - We all know someone who gets "hangry" when they need something to eat, but a St. Louis teenager takes it to the extreme.Police say 19-year-old Antonio Murray held up a taco stand on Cherokee Street just to get one taco. It happened on the night of September 8. Federal agents head operation on I-270 in St. Louis County An employee of 'Lilly's Panaderia' explained that she was making a taco for another customer when Murray walked up pointing a gun, grabbed the taco, saying it was his, and then left.Police said when they found Murray, he was carrying either a BB gun or an airsoft pistol. He is now charged with first-degree robbery.

Crews responding to SUV crash at local Target

LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - Emergency crews are responding to an SUV crash at a local Target.Our Bommarito Automotive Group SkyFOX helicopter was flying over the Promenade Shopping Center store just off Eager Road, where the SUV is now being towed out of the building. Federal agents head operation on I-270 in St. Louis County The crash hasn't caused any backups near Interstate 64, and so far, the cause of the crash is still unknown. Kirkwood School District hosting 7th annual 'Unified Night Lights' flag football game tonight

Last year's event was canceled due to a storm.The Kirkwood High varsity football team will play side by side with students who have disabilities. It recreates the excitement of a traditional Friday night football game. The goal is to show how sports can provide a path to friendships and break down barriers between people.It is free and open to the public. Mayor Tishaura Jones and the Board of Election Commissioners made the announcement.The city will use money from the American Rescue Plan Act to upgrade voting technology and help keep elections secure. The upgrades will also allow you to vote at any precinct across the city, no matter where you are registered to vote. Homeowners face insurance spikes over wildfires, storms

NEW YORK (AP) — A growing number of Americans are finding it difficult to afford insurance on their homes, a problem only expected to worsen because insurers and lawmakers have underestimated the impact of climate change, a new report says.A report from First Street Foundation released Wednesday says states such as California, Florida and Louisiana, which are prone to wildfires and damaging storms and flooding, are likely to see the most dramatic increases in premiums.
