Inmate located in Larkspur after manhunt, shelter in place

DENVER (KDVR) -- An escaped inmate was located hiding in a barn on private property in the Larkspur area by a citizen and Douglas County Sheriff's Office deputies, the agency reported Saturday morning.On Friday, parts of Larkspur near Fox Farm and Spruce Mountain were under a shelter-in-place Friday while police searched for the escaped inmate. Suspect identified in shooting that killed guard at New Hampshire State Hospital

(AP) — A Connecticut judge has set Jan. 23 as the date for a new Democratic primary election in the Bridgeport mayor’s race after having tossed out the September election results because of alleged ballot box stuffing.Judge William Clark issued the order late Friday afternoon after Mayor Joe Ganim and challenger John Gomes agreed on the Jan. 23 date.
